    Very nice song! I am still wondering about these labels...New Weird America...or Freak Folk. Not many of the bands or artists with this moniker are actually weird or feaky or different...unfortunately! Perhaps Devendra's early stuff was pretty freaky -- and great -- but certainty now he's totally normal. Should be called "New Normal America!" Any way, although "Wild Eyes" isn't freaky or weird or different, it's very good.

    I'm from Toronto and if you're from Portland, we're officially forbidden to discuss what's "weird" in Music. It sounds like a bad joke where we both wear ironic t-shirts & sip on cheap beer typing away... .

    However, I will say that, yes, within the NWA stuff of a couple years ago this may not be that "weird" by that particular definition. However, this channel was a personal project that hoped to reveal a greater pattern between Psych Folk & Doom Metal, and within my work, it is goodly weird.

    This is just breathtaking. I love all of the music that I've heard from her, but this is definitely my favorite! I could listen to this for days!
