looks like you need more thrust or less weight. that's my guess.

If you want a higher rate of climb, I suggest, inserting panels inside the intakes that direct the air more directly into the fans, put 1 on top and 1 on the bottom to concentrate the channel of air flow into the fans, thing with those huge intakes is that not enough air pressure.

Heavy and box frame but awesome, never seen a foxbat edf before. Its a good design for a jet because it needs huge engines for those fat nozzles, kick a foxbat into afterburner and it will go to space.

It's amazing how CG too far forward can kill the performance so badly!
