Your Eyes (original composition)

Hello there. This is my original composition. I wanted to write something about my daughter, Lara. Shes only 3 years old but has the most beautiful eyes. She probably got that from her mother. So I dedicate this song to her. Enjoy!

So innocent and fragile then, I could only hold you in my mind

But they will stay just to break your heart

Im trying now so hard to see
To live the life I meant to lead
Hoping I make everything alright
Amongst everything you come first
Give you things that you deserve
I could always see it in your eyes

A second past a moment then, you were standing right before my eyes
And how I wished that time stood still just so I can see for all time
I felt my heart skip a beat, trying to recover from my fall
I close and open up my eyes. You are not a dream after all
