Montgomery commencement speech by U.S. Rep. Bobby Bright

A portion of the commencement address given by U.S. Rep. Bobby Bright during the Montgomery Campus summer commencement ceremony on Monday, July 26. About 140 students received degrees this summer in Montgomery. Congressman Bright, who earned his master's degree at TROY, was elected in 2009 to represent Alabama's 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to that, he served nine years as the mayor of Montgomery. As a member of Congress, Bright serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Agriculture and Small Business Committees.
