Everyone saying "Yeah hit the cymbals harder", I also was like that first. But now I've got my own acoustik kit, I realized that's really not necessary. First of all, your cymbals will last longer, second, you don't need to hit them harder. If you can hear them above the music, then it's already loud enough. Like in this video! ;)
