On July 11, right here, in our own backyard, the SUMMER OLYMPICS were held! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego Summer Games presented by Chicken of the Sea, that is. Over 400 members participated in Olympic-styled competition on a wonderful day of sportsmanship, camaraderie and fun! Branches competed in soccer, track & field, ping-pong, basketball and swimming at the BGCGSD's 4S Ranch Branch and park. Thank you to Chicken of the Sea for sponsoring the event. Thank you to Kohl's for providing volunteers.
