@flickeriesLook, firstly, I'm 22 and my nuts are well intact. Second, I'm a male human, not a female dog, so the word "bitch" is irrelevant. And third and last, the acting isn't bad (I've seen worse. Have you ever seen The Room?) It's just over-the-top and hilarious to look at, but anyone who has played D&D and pays close attention to the movie would know they did everything wrong.

Isn't it funny? Irons acts in two films about dragons (neither of which were good) and remains the most entertaining thing about both for different reasons. I'm assuming when he saw that not even an enjoyably hammy performance could save this film he figured he could do something with Eragon as he actually had some mildly passable dialouge as opposed to guys like Malkovich and Carlyle. At least he made that one something you could sit through without being permantly damaged.

@balrog13571 Oh yeah, Malkovich is one of the worst fucking actors I've ever seen.
He should write a book on how to take the one character, involving monotone vocals and wooden features, and use it to cast across a thousand roles.
