Quick introduction: This is my homebrew game for the battletech universe, it is not commercial. I'm not making money off it, and it is in no way connected or representative of any of the commercial mechwarrior products now in production.

I'm gearing up to make Blender Battletech 0.50 which will include combat against vehicles, mech selection and a limited mechbay.

My son will be born in February and after that I will have very limited time to devote to my hobby.
So Version 0.50 will probably be the last version for a long while.

Mechwarrior Online is coming out soon though, so That's something to look forward to. :)

I've recently changed the critical hits system to make it more interesting, but I think it got nerfed a bit too much. I need to bring a bit more lethality back in to the system. I think what is needed is for the "roll three critical hits" or "limb/Head blown off" part to be added. Because right now the mechs are surviving much more than they should (torso reduced to black most times).
