Roshi, the tennis ball-soccer player dog - Part 1

Video #1 of Roshi the dog who lives and works at Mountain Sage Coffee in Groveland, CA, near Yosemte National Park.

We met the owners, Colton and Hillary and their super dog Roshi when we stopped for coffee at the Mountain Sage coffee shop in Groveland on our way back from Yosemite (great coffee).

Roshi is a 3 year old border collie / Australian kelpie. He is just amazing and a joy to be with, very playful, and fun dog who likes to play with a tennis ball and make passes to people who play with him. His passing is accurate and intentional and he can even score goals when shooting for a door way. He can also distinguish from right and left. Colton tells us that he will keep on playing forever and never tiers out.

He sometimes needs a little prodding by getting a 1-2-3 countdown to go after the ball.

So, do drop in the Mountain Sage coffee shop, kick up a bit, chat with Colton and Hillary and get ready for a game of soccer with Roshi!

awwwww this just made my night! i just spent the summer in that area and visited the sage at least twice a week. roshi really is something special!
