Thanks. you are nice for sayin' it.

  • This is nicce.

  • @heavenssdin Where do you eat in California? I was born in that state, I'm not white and I still get served.

  • @heavenssdin .........I am gonna keep that in mind if I ever go to CA

  • @heavenssdin Sorry to bust your racist bubble here but no waitress I'ver ever had has ever done any of the stuff to me and I live in New Jersey!

  • I've had a few Judy's train me and God bless them for it. I can deal with any adverse situation that life throws my way because of the humour and grit that these women gave me.

  • @mujaku

I waitressed almost my entire university career and my experience was that the majority of customers are lovely. Smile, get their order right and check on them once and while is all that is really required in a pub or family restaurant but it never hurts to learn someone's name or remember what they drink, either.

I still see former customers when I return to my uni town, and though, like many things, some of the names have escaped me over the years, I still remember what they had.

  • Over the years I have learned to love and respect a waitress (and waiters). I tip about 30% and in a little diner I usually tip more than the cost of the food. It really makes my day to do this. I feel wonderful. Last time I got a big hug from the waitress.

  • remains me of my mother

  • Yeah I didn't mean to sound the way I did lol, just meant that they will get you back if you decide to be a jerk . . . . "Whats this you grabbed my booty? I'm going to have them make a special soup that will put you in a coma :D"
