god, I'm such an ass, I did not pay attention to the ppl playing and thought it was the official Silvestri symphony ... all that to say that all those musicians are GREAT, the polar express music is beautifully performed, well done ;)

our symphony is playing this piece, I was sad that the vid begins around a minute into the actual piece. There's a whole section before the train chords in the brass that, judging from this, would have sounded beautiful and quite superior.

to be fair Justin, the Newmarket Enrichment Band is made up of mostly grade 8s and a couple grade 7s. This band is made up of university students that are paying to have an education in music. (Newmarket Enrichment Band member alumni 2000)
