We all have a lot to be thankful for. No matter how miserable you are, be happy for the sacrifice of our armed forces serving in harms way, thanks now and forever. Let freedom ring.

  • Hey Al, have you ever thought about checking out some of knock defection / listening devices available? The Gizzmo K-mon is a good tool which would help you in situations like this one? I have a video posted where I am using one if you are interested

  • The problem is when you are trying to set up a customer's stand alone ecu to run on pump gas its very helpful when the knock sensor has resolution and head room left to descern knock and you can tune in a effective knock control system on the car. I do use det cans on cars at times or the chassis ear.

  • Thank god there are still people in this country that appreciate our military, Happy Thanksgiving Bro!

  • Without the sacrifice of those who came before us and those who continue to serve we would be another shit hole with no human rights and no freedom. Freedom is earned, freedom has a huge price. Its the proud members of our military who pay that bill.

  • I have no idea about the details behind his build, but I'd like to say that build motors are usually meant for racing, and that motor might be perfectly fine. Driving around the block and doing a couple third gear pulls will probably not warm those pistons up to racing temps. I'd like to hear that motor after a few laps around a track or after numerous consecutive stationary dyno pulls to see if it was clearanced poorly. I'd also like to see how much oil consumption or oil contamination there is

  • Ok fair enough. However this car is designed as a PUMP GAS daily driver and as usch operating on pump gas needs knock control. With so much engine back ground noise its very hard to have effective knock control. In an evo it is not needed to have the engine so loose. Personally, I cant stand having a evo motor sound like a truck.
