False impression? Meaning what? That they were human, with virtues and flaws? Kind of like you?

and many of these jews were active in the communist movement which took over romania after the war. others were involved in exploiting the country. so, this innocent music gives us a false impression

I have Romanian ancestry, Russian too, through my Jewish/English mother, RIP mom and thank you for the wealth of music and tradition, appreciation of ethicities of all kinds, etc. I am such a blessed daughter.

God bless Romania and all peoples of Romania (Romanians, Hungarians, Transsylvanian Germans, Jews). May the King be restored. And may all live in peace and prosperity.

Great job!
Sirba/sarba, joc/jok and of course doina and hora are Romanian styles of songs and/or dances.
This is a very merry rendition!
Always the "classics", eh?
Thank you!
