The first 10 minutes of this session were supposed to be a late passing exercise driven at 8-9 tenths and that if another pair of cars caught up to your group you were supposed to move offline and let them through. Unfortunately those 2 groups of Porsche's didn't remember either of those two points and we were coasting around at slower than expected speeds doing the exercise. At least I got some nice external views of Steve's black 2008 Evo X in the process. When the green flag flies I let Steve tear them up a bit before hustling through the traffic myself.
Later on I let the Z06 with racing rubber pass into the bus stop and attempt to at least keep him in sight for a lap or two with some 2:16 lap times. You can see he pulls away quite a bit on the straights so without more power and similar sticky race rubber I just ended up working on my lines with a relatively open track.
This is my daily driver and was setup for reliable operation at 25 psi boost (~500 crank HP @ 3500 lbs)Temperatures were warm in the high 70's during the morning and I was reaching ~150 mph on the back stretch without traffic on the second day.
