Meghan, my Mom makes jam the same simple way, but it always comes out so thin that we could pour it out of the jar. She always does what you do: half the sugar than what Certo recommends. I figured this was the reason her jam is thin. You didn't show the cooled finished product. Is yours thin? BTW, I came accross your videos looking for a Jamaican patty recipe. You have a good teaching skill and you're easy to understand. Thanks. (I won't be eating any lip gloss soon, though! hee.)

Hey thanks for watching! Yes indeed mine does come up thin, but you can always solve that problem by simmering a little longer, just keep an eye on it. I just don't like how sweet the jam is sometimes, it overtakes the flavor of the strawberries. Thanks for the compliments, and yes try the lip gloss recipe, you won't be dissapointed! :)
