Let's see--Camilla does NOT come from money and aristocracy. She was nothing but a hanger-on, uber royal groupie. And her famous line she used to start her romance w/ Prince Charles about her great-grandmother being a mistress to his great-great grandfather, Edward VII, was so cheesy, DESPERATE & tacky. Diana came from money and an aristocratic background. She was a descendant of 3 kings in England. In fact, Diana background is more Royal than those German royal-imports who killed her.

Diana was right all along! She knew from the outset that Camilla was involved and then when she voiced her justified outrage the whole establishment accused her of being mad. Now they have the gall to actually live together and think that can ascend to the throne. No!

It sounds like Charles was letting Di know before marriage the way things would be & Di gave an OK. So they both went into marriage w/an understanding that is was a business arrangement. So I don`t think this could be called a "betrayal of Di" since she had affairs too. So it can`t be the affair that bothered Di. It had to be something else. Perhaps Di expected her to be just a mistress, but when Di saw Camilla had pwr it made Di feel her place was being diminished so she lashed out.

It must have been dreadful for Camilla’s children having such a disgusting filthy ugly infested whore for a mother. Apparently, Camilla was frequently drunk for days at a time having been with numerous men while Andrew Parker Bowles was away and often never even bothered to shower! IMO Diana was brought on board for one reason only..to be a brood mare for Charles She was too naive to see what was really going on until it was too late.Maybe Charles loved her in his own way (whatever love means) but if he probably had more than one mistress on the side and it would have fallen apart anyway - even without Camilla in the picture.
