it seems like the pain and spasms this does to your muscles seems worse than just doing normal ab exercises.

They're lying.. they aren't getting shocked for The Contour doesn't send any voltage. It works like a pacemaker - sending a signal to your nerves telling them to twitch. Enough twitches will cause a contraction and those contractions are what's tightening your muscles
