  • Loved it.

Notice how this man raises his right elbow and along with it, his right shoulder. This gives him the chance to place the buttpad on his shoulder. Too many shooters tuck the rifle into their armpit. Also, by having a high shoulder mount, he doesn't have to lower his head to see down the sights.

This is a classic example of how the Brits are better gunmen than the Yanks. In my native USA, we take our guns for granted and see little need for formal training. What a shame.

  • Good Job man!

  • Im going to sound like I learned everything from cod, but, how big is the cartridge for that? Like in size and recoil? Compared to a 7mm and a 50 cal

  • @Counterins who ever taught you knew his shit ive seen "experts" that didnt shoot from the same position (i almost always shoot from ground with a bipod but i take the same stance as you and anyother person who has actuly gotten used to shooting large caliber firearms lol

  • @Counterins dont listen to him lmao an 8gauge is a shot gun there was never a shot gun intended for takeing down elephants thick skinned animals are better taken by high powerd rifles

  • @Counterins xD good ol iron sights for ya

  • why is the top comment a chick that want to chat?

  • this is the reason there are no elephants left in Lancashire.

  • @Counterins thank you for this answer

  • @ulkord When you are firing from a standing position, I was taught to have my leading leg slightly bent and my back leg straight, this puts you in a position of leaning forwards with the stock or butt of the rifle in the shoulder on the same side as your back leg. The idea is that the recoil travels into your shoulder and down the straight leg giving you a more stable platform to shoot from. Holding it anyother way would not allow you to control the recoil sufficiently,
