nice vid.when did they start allowing wheelie bars in stock eliminator?

I'd say about 5 years ago. With the increased horsepower these guys are capable of standing straight up and down and they allowed them the option to run the wheelie bars. And thanks, I'm glad you like the footage.

Its a maroon 69 camaro w/ silver on the bottom. His name is Dave Walther.

I don't know. I went on to Drag Race Central and looked at final qualifying from this year all the way back to 2006 and I didn't see Dave Walther on the qualifying sheet?? Listed under a different name maybe?

He might not race in stock eliminator anymore. He won at indy in 97, and i think he won again at indy or florida in 2003 or 04. I know he was in s e until 03 or 04 though.
