  • @goldensleeves i dunno, i think its just a tic he does that all the time in his other videos

  • @1Drummer88

and he's 21 years old here (and looks younger)!

  • Anyone who thinks TW couldn't swing should be shot!

  • @goldensleeves Maybe he heard pitch issues and told his group to listen harder? That's my guess.

  • fantastic performance from everyone, but a bit frustrating for us drummers who want to see Tony! After all, we know what a horn player looks like, but we need to see the guy playing the most demanding instrument of all.

  • I beg to differ' this sounds more like an 'Exercise of, 'This is what we can do with these instruments'. I mean just take a look at the listeners, Because they were great 'musicians, doesn't mean they always played great music ! If you were playing this crap everytime I came to your house I would have to be worried about you! The real Joy for me is just seeing musicians like Miles Hancock & Shorter in Motion..Not though to hear the crap they were spilling out to satisfy these morbid audiences.

  • This is REAL music by REAL musicians!!!

  • That there is a discussion attempting to classify their style points to the fact that they created a new, original, unique and unclassifiable style. The videos from this era are truly historic. You are witnessing a major shift in the direction of jazz. Where they evolved to in Miles' electric era is simple astounding - "Bitches Brew" is testament to that! They were definitely pushing beyond the standard forms into new territory that still has powerful influences today.

  • Why does Miles Davis push on that spot in front of his ear after he plays like at 1:40
