i totally disagree... this is one of my favourite recordings ever. Keltner on drums sounds fantastic.. creative and amazing groove. The BVs are tight and sound great. The whole thing has this great sense of abandon. Fantastic.

William Carlos Williams says in one of his poems: Shall we think or shall we listen? I was reading all the fucking argumentation below as i tried to listen & it kept me from enjoying this kickass version of the song. Who gives a shit about all this speculation when Ry Cooder & friends laid this real groove down for us to listen to: Stop thinking, motherfuckers!
