How short is your hair? It's best if it's long enough to be able to pin the hair (kind of like a half up half down) in the back.

How long does it last on your head before it starts to slide off?

It lasts all day on my hair, but I use it in a pony tail, so it's secured. If you plan on using it loose, with your hair down you might want to tease a little for a firmer hold. But for the most part, it has a strong hold as long as you're not doing any strenuous activities.

The bumpits purpose is to give the hair height, you still have to tease it, otherwise the bumpit will show a lot of the time. (:

The bump looks better if you tease first and my hair is straight and thin so it doesn't stick if I don't tease it
