Very nice playing. Pr. Morris is one of the most amazing teachers I've ever seen! Fantastic! And he's a TRUE bass player.

Good job...guess I'm not quite the same when it comes to set ups...I use a 1970 Precision BOUGHT NEW...with High A's and the ORIGINAL BadAss bridge with ROUND WOUNDS on my Fretless! Completely on the other side of muddy. Goes to show you youngn's .... There's room for ALL bass players. By the way... I BOIL my strings every 3 months...15 years with the same set of stings???...well, when you are going for muddy....you surely wouldn't keep your stings clean that for sure.

Also if its possible for berklee to send me a copy of the video of the summer bass line 2009 I would appreciate it so much many thanks.

the timbre of the muted Fender bass is my fav...used to go see Rocco play starting when I was in high school early 1974 era..another player you should check out is Ronnie Baker...played with Harold Melvin and The Bluenotes, and of course James Jamerson..

Danny...I noticed your left hand technique before you talked about it at the end of the video. It's very similar to the way Rocco prestia plays. Was that something you just naturally taught yourself to play like that?

@Dylanbassedmunds The bass is there. Try listening with headphones or plugging your computer into some external speakers. Laptop speakers and some other computer speakers don't handle bass well. Hope that helps to resolve this for you.
