Finally a good and intelligent singer revives some of the Brazilian songs by Braga and Villa-Lobos that Bidu Sayão once sang so amazingly. These are simple but enchanting, creative melodies that deserved to be heard more often. Besides the evident excellent quality of her voice, what I am admiring even more is the rare musicianship, intelligence and the unusual repertoire this soprano choses. :-)
