Johannes Brahms Trio for Piano, Clarinet and Cello in A minor Op. 114 - Adagio

Claire Eichhorn, clarinetist and Artistic Director of "The Ensemble da Camera of Washington", was born in Stuttgart, Germany to a family of outstanding musicians. Ms. Eichhorn completed her studies at Indiana University and the University of Michigan. Among her teachers were Alfred Zetzer, Bernard Portnoy, and Fred Ormand. In chamber music, she worked extensively with Menachem Pressler, Rostislav Dubinsky, and James Buswell. She has performed widely in the United States and Europe as recitalist, and on many occasions with her mother, pianist Judith Burganger, and her husband, violinist Ricardo Cyncynates. Ms. Eichhorn has also performed as guest artist with, among others, the Shanghai String Quartet, the Stratford Chamber players, the Chamber Artists of Washington, and the Sistrum New Music Ensemble. Ms. Eichhorn debuted as a soloist at the age of seventeen performing Debussy's Premiere Rhapsodie with the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. She won the University of Michigan Concerto Competition, performing Mozart's Clarinet Concerto under Maestro Gustav Meier. in 1983, she was the recipient of the prestigious Alfonso D'Emilia Award given by the Indiana University School of Music.

Robert Moore has been a member of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra for fourteen years. His first professional position was with the Fort Worth Symphony. He then accepted positions with the Arkansas Symphony and the Tulsa Philharmonic.
