The celebration for the hospitals 20th anniversary held

The Asan Medical Center, opened in 1989 in an aim to reach out to the underprivileged of our community, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a commemorative ceremony.
The ceremony, which commenced with speeches by President Jungshin Lee and Kunchoon Park, Director General of the Asan Healthcare System, offered the chance to trace our footsteps for the past 20 years and gain perspectives on the next 20.
At the ceremony, 98 employees were awarded citations for outstanding performance and given the chance to join an overseas training program as a prize.
Also, 9 outstanding volunteers were awarded citations and prizes, and outstanding partner companies presented with appreciation plaques.
The Asan Spirit declaration ceremony was also performed as a program to shed a new light on the foundations founding principles, AMCs missions and visions, thus offering us the future direction to take.
AMC acknowledges achievements of its employees by holding the awarding ceremony every year on the founding day.
