  • I loved this song...bet it was 1961.

  • C'mon! No sax? Alto Reed? I've heard Jr. Walker on several songs (I think he's that burning sax part on Foreigner's "Urgent") Clarence Clemons (including Miss Aretha Franklin's "Freeway of Love"), and a ton of Steely Dan. I admit to not being able to think off the top of my head of a song that's all backed by sax, but I'll bet there is one.

  • @BHBrother87

Dont forget Huey Lewis And The News.....

  • Gary does my city proud.

  • In celebration of our magnolias blooming.

  • @LesSmith45 come to think of it the last commercial success for a sax backed song was john fogerty playing the sax on rock n' roll girls in 85'. I'm sure i've missed a few songs between then and now but that's what comes to mind.

  • Yeah you right ! Where y'at Gary U S Bonds ?!

  • forgot how absolutely fantastic & rockin' this was, & still is & always will be. hey, hey fuckin' hey yeah!!!!!!!

  • @BHBrother87 I agree with everything you said except todays kids would not have a clue what is good music and nobody i am afraid but us oldies would listen. These kids of today HAVE NO CLUE WHAT GREAT MUSIC IS. There is no way in hell a kid today that listens to the gaga and biebers and hip hop has a frickin clue what great bluesy R&B music is. Todays R&B is not R&B that is for sure. just my opinion. But how many cars do you hear driving by with this kind of music playing loud. NONE! ZERO! NADA!

  • as the young folks would say, this is sick nasty, just a bad song, sax makes you feel like you're going through a washing machine, if this came out today it would be #1 on the charts in about a day and a half and it would stay there for a year. too bad no more music like this anymore, haven't heard a sax in a new pop release in decades.
