Paterno's Death Met With Grief in State College

Thousands of people gathered on the campus of Penn State University Sunday night, several hours after former football coach Joe Paterno died of lung cancer. School officials say they have plans to commemorate his life and career.

JoePa didn't deserve any of this...all of you need to get your facts straight...JOEPA DID NOT RAPE LITTLE BOYS OR DO ANYTHING OF THAT MESSED UP CONDUCT. He was the greatest college football coach to ever walk a sideline, he taught his players life lessons not just sports bull shit. The graduation rate of his football teams were incredible. Joepa also did not "cover it up" I love how America lives for the negative and enjoys tearing a good man to pieces. I hope one day people change.

Im glad that he wasnt abandoned by the school just because of the sex abuse scandal. Im also glad people aret judging him harshly for his mistakes. People dont realize we are all capable of doing the same sin. We should never consider ourselves better than the next persob because that is worst than any wrong doing paterno ever did
