Is it absolutely necessary to install a larger jet in the carburetor if I install a slip on exhaust ? Yours sounds great and I'm contemplating buying an after market exhaust.

Its easy to re jet the carburetor on a klr250. The jets are cheap and it only took me about an hour. Mine had a 118 main and 35 pilot jet stock. I put in a 125 main and 38 pilot with the new exhaust.
