I haven't driven either of those cars, but why some morons think that acceleration solely depends on engine power output??? It depends on gears and weight too, I have driven Ignis Sport with its 1.5 litre engine and it can outrun much more powerful cars in a short drag race like this thanks to its low weight and very short gears. But If you take it on motorway and try to accelerate then almost any family saloon can outrun it in higher speeds.

I can outrun for example with no problem BMW 525 with 2.5 192hp engine for about 0-140km/h but when we get to 160-170 Swift GTi is loosing its power... But either way i achieved about 205km/h on motorway ;)

i dont think that that honda has a vtec, the one you have looks like a 1995-1998 and a lx or cx, i think the ek, ex, and si are the only ones with the 1.6l vtec

besides this honda has 1.5 VTEC 115HP not 1.6VTEC 160HP ;)

Why is it so hadr to belive that Swift is faster?? On stock engine Swift has 8.6s from 0 to 100km/h...
