I have had to put down this book several times because of the phrases and ways that people were desrcibed. While I was very glad to see someone step out of their norm, and think that is admirable, as a homeless person some of the things said were offensive to me. "FROM UPPER_- MIDDLE CLASS PLUSH TO SCUM OF THE EARTH REPULSIVE" I am not repulsive,

Im the opposite of most of you guys here, not that im not a christian, i am. What i mean is that i haven't read the book at all. I have however met Mike in person at missions fest last year. It was really cool getting to meet him.

Good book, great idea. Hanging with the untouchables. building relationships and just being present in the slums. Christians gotta go out and just BE and love in those places where there is no love. a light in the darkness. Jesus was the example so we could do the same.

What an amazing testimony! Living the Christian life is all about demonstrating the LOVE of Christ!!! Do people see the love of Jesus when they meet you? Do they know that you care? God is not willing that any man should perish... God is a God of When you are close to Jesus, your love shines through your life and it is evident to those around you. Thank you for posting this video. May it encourage all of us to live the life of Christ, not just speak it. God bless!
