True, way too much trem. He's not bad but there are WAY better guitarists in Miami than Sonny. But it's not about who's better, maybe who's more intense. From what I heard he got lucky that at the store finals the guy who should've won was first and had technical problems with his gear and that caused him to lose to Sonny. The judges were off by a letter...lol.

I can't believe how critical so many are of this. I think it shows a lot of taste, restraint, and creativity. He shows elements of flash but doesn't bore you with it. Definitely not the same old recycled blues licks that get so overdone. Well done.

And his father David East. I played git with Sonny when he was 11 years old, he and his Pop Dave.He was good back then also.He figured out eric johnson songs at 11 years old.
