  • badass!i just discovered youtube backing tracks today and ive been missing out. D minor can work but some of the notes clash. C major pentatonic works as well as A minor pentatonic. Just a tip to anyone who doesn't know, using the major/minor theory, you can move three frets up from the minor pentatonic and play the major pentatonic and vise versa.

  • @zachvd13 thanks man!

  • FUCK YES I loved this.

and the weird D based chord nis just a Cminor chord shifted up a whole step with the opens left to ring :P I love it, use it all the time.

  • @mikeyFear0n :DXD

    thanks! =)

The chord is D #F and a G.... what would it be called? :DXD

  • Damn... that's an evil backing track.. good job!

  • I don't want to over analyze which scale or mode works best, but can I just say that you have absolutely mastered the heavy wall of sound that literally begs for a screaming guitar riff to pierce it's heart of darkness! Outstanding my friend!

  • i used a dorian works great

  • I like this track.nice job on it.

  • Its weird. I dont know too much about theory but you can actually use D minor also. They are pretty much same notes but when I change it back to A minor it sounds like making mistakes, butr after ahile it starts to sound ok with A minor too again.

  • Cool track man!!!

  • @zachvd13 If you want to play D minor you should try D dorian:)

  • Best backing track ever :D

  • ausome backin i woz playin to this 4 hours
