the paint schems are unlocked by beating boss aircraft in the arena mode, very hard but worth it.

@crazypig00000 I know I am late to comment but I want to say that I like both in different ways. I would like Over G a lot more if it was better quality it seems kind of like a cheaper game with bad graphics and horrible missions. It is a lot more realistic than Ace Combat though. I have always been a fan of ace combat and they have always had prestine quality.
