1960s Television, very small classic car "King Midget" (clip from 1960 episode of "Price is Right")

Another example of 1960s television, and a interesting looking American classic-car called "King Midget" (in the time, there were several very small cars created as an reaction to the world of the time. These are often collectable now). Taken from Mill Creek's nifty DVD release of "The Price is Right". I wouldn't mind having that car, and it's a nice example of very, VERY early 1960s TV. Plus, the contestant not only wins a car, the contestant also wins....

it was 65 miles per gallon not mph

it said 9 1/2 horsepower

on a car that size and weight

prob top out at like 40 mph..

That's great. IFUB rules were a little different back in the first run of TPIR with the legendary Bill Cullen, but it was neat to see a similar approach to the overbids like we do today, and even with the lady at the end pulling the tried-and-true "dollar more" approach from the previous bid. Great clip overall.
