( www.lerroproductions.com ) A photo charter was hosted by Lerro Productions at the Conway scenic railroad during the first days of 2009. I was fortunate enough to be able to make the trip up to New Hampshire and film this rarity; a steam-powered freight train in the snow! Much thanks goes out to Pete Lerro and his crew for making this a memorable and worthwhile event. The cold temperatures were brutal, dropping to around zero during the Night Photo Session with 40 mile an hour gusts. Despite the frigid conditions, a fruitfull weekend was had for all of the photographers/videographers on hand. Hope you enjoy the video.

  • An 0-6-0 on the main is unorthodox, to say the least, but it's steam. Great selection of cars, too.

  • This has to be one of the best steam videos on youtube. 5*s across the board.

  • Just beautiful! I grew up in Minnesota (might as well be Canada) and miss the north country, winters included. I could practically feel the air on my face watching this.

  • why does she have 2 whistles

  • Nothing short of awesome! Remember CSRR's 1st season back in the mid '70s. They have truly come a long way! Superb video. Really captures the beauty of a New Hampshire winter.
