  • Those little stacks sure do rap with the big cummins o.o

  • Nice ole k whopper

  • Old skool cool right there.

  • its a 220 cummins with a rear dump split manifold.

  • Even though Kenworth don't normally operate Detroit 2 stroke engines, you'd swear that the sound of that 51 Kenworth engine was a Detroit!

  • Still think it's that split manifold. SOME INFORMATION PLEASE?

  • Maybe it's that SPLIT MANIFOLD changing it's tone to make you think it's a Detroit. Anyone please explain how this split manifold works? Is it an actual dual outlet exhaust manifold that is used on non turbo engines? Sur like to know. It changes the tone on the in line six.

  • The owner of the truck told me to let you all know it's a 220 cummins with a rear dump split manifold and the pump is turned up as far as it'll go.

  • ive never heard a cummins sound like that. it has to be a detriot, specially how gutless it is

  • Quit yer bickerin " boys & girls ".....if you

can't tell the the clear difference between a 2 cycle -vs- a 4 cycle engine,

......well, I don't know what to tell you....

Except that.......that old KW is unquestionably running Cummins Power......which is what KW was putting

in all their trucks at that time.
