  • COOL,HISTORY OF GRAFF!!! LOOK IT UP

  • These 2 videos were awesome because I love old Hip Hop movies like Beat Street & Style Wars I think now it is very difficult to find a real hip hop movie. One that doesn't have to do with hustling or any of that over exaggerated gangsta bullshit. Movies like Wild Style really opened my eyes to what Hip Hop was and what it is suppose to be.

I would like to also add I am probably the only 18 year kid with a signed copy of Wild Style from Grand Wizard Theodore lol

  • Hey, thanks for this fantastic interview and BIG thanks for letting him say his piece and not interrupting him! (I see that too much and drives me nuts).

I love this film. Watched it again tonight, and just wanted to re-watch it over and over!

  • @jjbz01 Dude, just search for it on YT or look in my favourites! All ten parts are in my faves, here :)

  • this shit is so beautiful.....we live in a some what beautiful....and this was the beginning.... i was b boying back then and on the turntables.....japan representing.....the original tribe called quest sample....lucien....u should know....

  • This movie also revealed my own prejudices and racism and misunderstanding of people in the ghetto, especially in America. And it seems to have changed the ideas about it to the whole wide world, across nations, ignorance continues to surface with each new generation but truth got to stand....

  • props young brother. It's always great when newer generations appreciate and understand the foundation of what the music is today. I'm jealous, lol. Guard that copy with your life. It'll be a great memento to pass on to your kids.

  • Phat Shout to Ill Doc for posting and helping expose this. Charlie Ahearn Indeed was an angel in disguise to the Hip Hop culture back in 1980 & 81 with such things as wild style, the village voice and inviting Take 1 and the guys to his common ground studio to perform/practice...Big ups to Charlie..I regret the day I couldnt make it to nyc to perform with my boy frosty freeze for charlies 2007 summer stage wild style anniversary...But yeah legends are the reason our ancestory lives on...

  • you havnt? oh god
