  • God as a kid I wanted Sting vs Taker...two of the staples of the brands that formed wrestling. One of the very few who remained loyal dispite money, That match would of been epic.

  • Sting should have destroyed Hogan here, the NWO should have disbanded the following Nitro, and WCW should have focused on their young, talented roster of wrestlers. If they had done that, WCW would have been runnning neck and neck with WWF.

Instead, a total screw job and continuation of the lame NWO gimmick which would end up ruining WCW.

  • After this match is when the NWO should have died. No wolfpack, no NWO Elite, NWO 2000, after 1997 the gimmick really got old.

  • @y2g1983 HBK was never in WCW. The 2 biggest stars to be loyal, Sting and Shawn, probably would have put on one of the best matches ever!

  • Where's the ending?

  • Why the fuck does WWE block the ending of this match form YOUTUBE??

  • @azuzaj1 There was no other company to go to with his gimmick, but yeah respect to taker but Sting is truly the only ICON in the business when it comes to loyalty, fuck WWE! lol.

  • @y2g1983 Dosnt matter where he FIRST was. He made the right decision and left, and STAYED with the WWF/WWE for decades. Never went back, and never left for another company. And who cares about Gimmick? Alot of guys tried their luck in other companies. Taker remained Loyal. My statement still stands.

  • @azuzaj1 Taker was first in WCW so he really wasnt that faithul plus he couldnt take his gimmick else where due to copyright

  • The match was booked awfully. I don't even mean just the 3 count. There was no intensity. Sting gets to the ring and we get a staredown, a push, a slap, a lot of stalling, and then a routine LOCK UP?? Compare to Hogan vs. Sheik when he won the WWF title in 1984. That's how the match shoudl have started. And a botched match shouldn't have killed things. It's vacating the title, having Sting win via screwjob at SuperBrawl, and then dropping the belt 2 months later and sticking him in Wolfpac.

  • @zZHighTimeZz right on, bro
