is it me, or does it seem the goalies back in the 80's and 90's are almost half the size of today's goalies? I like the idea of guys who don't need such big of pads to make great saves like this. swing of the glove and then do the splits=boss
Also, and i don't care what anyone else says, 0:10 - 0:48 i really miss this equipment. helmet+cage goalie masks, the old brown or tinted pads, blocker, glove. Just so simplistic, nostalgic and traditional. no fashion statements. all hockey.

Defensive systems have reduced goal scoring not goalies or their styles!

@TheGoalieGuru my dvd recorder has been broken... and my vcr keeps eating my tapes.. oh and my editing software is only working in reverse... but someday... it might happen.
