probably they wanted to highlight the other dude who won and thats why andrew's performances weren't as spectacular
he was the one who was vocally head and shoulders above any one else - his voice is so distinct and great for recording. He could've easily have dozen of "moments" like the straight up part - probably it was the only moment when he was given a free hand to sing anything.

Other than Straight Up, this was his other best performance which I've always been a fan of, but the coupling with the piano here is incredible. Even better.

Ahhh I can't believe how amazing he is:) I fell in love with him, when I saw him audition!! I don't think Idol was for him.. the judges just really irritate me, because Andrew has his own style of music and they just didn't seem to get it!!! He is amazing, and will do great things anyway:)
