i watched this, made the first one with a funnel, tape and straws in about 15 min, works, now i want a good one. if anyone is up for a challenge, find one i can buy. that would be awesome. i cant find one.

@Geniuskid222 well this is only one video so you cant say "every single one of these videos is..." so your wrong there, and your also wrong where you say they are all fake. the first one is the only certainly real/possible one. proven over and over again.

@aadagger actually bud, the first one works perfect. i didnt believe it either, so i made it with a funnel and some bendy straws. took about 15 min. tape leaks though...

Come on, people, this video is just a demonstration of some medieval designs, not proof that they work. ALL the machines shown here are powered.
The full explanation why each of them is impossible is too long, but anyone can take his old physics textbook and make the calculations ;)
Anyone who still believes that perpetual motion machines are possible - stop wasting your time on comments: build one, hook it to generator and never pay for electricity for life :)))

@flaviupodina because none of these devices actually works

and why do we still use petrol?

You need to take the machines that have shown to work in this video and record them on a low-speed camera until they stop moving, maybe even set up a website that has a 24-hour live-feed of the machines as they work and a timer to show how long it has been happening so that people can see for themselves whether it is really perpetual. I would totally go to that site. Probably end up watching it for days on end...

@Leotheon They are all using gravity! The reason the last two work is based on gravity and the function of a lever. It is easier to lift a heavy object if the fulcrum is closer to the weight. So by making the unbalanced weight flip out or roll out away from the fulcrum(the axel) and the weight on the other side move closer the force of gravity is strong enough to lift and thus create perpetual motion.
It would be nice if you provided the length of time each of these kept going before they stopped

@ADHD105 just google "why do perpetual motion machines violate the first law of thermodynamics" it will be a clear description answering your question
