Usa 1974 Director: Tobe Hooper
Synopsis: En route to visit their grandfather's grave (which has apparently been ritualistically desecrated), five teenagers drive past a slaughterhouse, pick up (and quickly drop) a sinister hitch-hiker, eat some delicious home-cured meat at a roadside gas station, before ending up at the old family home... where they're plunged into a never-ending nightmare as they meet a family of cannibals who more than make up in power tools what they lack in social skills...

  • @camillabrustuen em hav u even watched this "film" let me gues ur 15 and u like new big budget horror movies and remakes that are so cramed with cgi it makes ur eyes bleed! wel for 1974 this film was the shit, it defined slasher movies and stil to this day inspires soo many directors and actors. and sure for todays standards it might not be as jumpy or gorey as some new horror films are but for me i cant remember any other film that freaked me out so much when i watched it 1st.

  • horror movies really became shit after the 80's, it's really sad.

  • Ist der Film nicht ab 21 oder sooo??? Hab ich mal gehört wenn nich gibt es filme ab 21 wenn ja welche???

  • cant help myself lauging at this

  • If you're here talking this film down AND you're a fan of the Horror genre you should be kicked square in the ass. Granted this film is dated but it is still one of the originals that stands the test of time. There aren't too many (almost) 40 year old films that hold up this well.

  • 1:05 So keep looking, waiting to be killed rather than run, son of a bitch

  • @debbiegirllove1 lol yeah but they have the fear and depth that the new ones don't have

  • I love this film but im 14 and i dont find it scary, fp most people are wimps

  • Thumps up if you still watching this on 2012

  • FUCKING LOVE THIS MOVIE

  • @LedZiphell420 i like hostile and saw, but don't compare them to horror films. there more of a thriller type.

  • @shreddintheaxe
