God, having a flashback here...
I was FMF 77 to 92, good times, right? Combat litter course in the NC mud, set up the Field Hospital in MOPP4 gear, all that happy horseshit. Somebody has to keep the Jarhead Corps in line, right Doc??

All looks the same as when I was there in '91. Thanks for the video, brought back alot of memories.

I was there in the summer of 1978. I remember getting eat up by sand fleas and taking the last practical laying in poison ivy. You had to do the whole thing laying flat or you failed. I also notice the same building. There was a quote from Chesty Puller on top of one of the doors going from one class room to another.

They are still using the same building that I went through when I was at FMSS in 1976 .

@TheNightwolf13 How about a girl who ran cross country for 4 years before joining the navy? of course i had more stamina than a guy who never ran a mile before he joined.

@katynkitty You must have had a shitty plt if you could run circles around them. I have never met a girl that could run circles around half my platoon. Also just so you know the training in Lejune and Pendleton are not the same.

yes females can be FMF corpsman. My husband was in FMF training with numerous women and many did way better than most of the guys. the better shape you're in when you start, the easier it will be and the more fun you'll have.

hi one quick question im planning on joining but i would really like to be an HM(FMF) corpsman but i dont know if women can be so can a girl be an HM(FMf) corpsman???
