This workout regiment is for the pear shaped females or any female looking to slim their legs down and create sexy toned legs and a rounder more visible buttocks. If you have overpowering large legs and a flat looking buttocks than you will want to follow this program.

Many Pear shaped females believe their legs are just naturally large. This is true, but most women also believe they have too much muscle in their legs. This is false most of the time. Many pear shaped women have lots of fat in their legs which takes away form the shape of the legs, makes your legs appear bigger becasue fat takes up more space than muscle so your legs will appear bigger than if they were mostly muscle. Pear shaped women usually also have flat buttocks, because of a lack of development of lower back muscles and hamstring development. Perform these exercises will create a sexier legs and a more attractive rounder butt. Diet is key so you will also need to eat a clean diet so you can reduce the amount of fat being stored in your legs.

  • I have a pear shape. I am trying to lose some fat plus tone (if that makes sense).... I dont want to be too much smaller but I would like to tighten up.... Can I pair these exercises with some interval cardio and ab work to achieve this?

  • @Tsousa1987 Who said you would create a flatter butt? Any exercise that involves the gluteal muscles will create a ROUNDER buttocks ALWAYS!! You are asking about hip size (butt size) which does not always increase with a rounder butt based on fat%. Glute strength and butt size also do not always increase the same. I recall your hip size is large already, so go ahead and perform the isolation workouts. Measure your hip size before than measure after 1 month of performing exercises.

I have one other question... lets say a person performing these exercises and she already has a more muscular than fat butt will exercises like the bridge and other ones like it that really concentrate on the glute create a flatter or smaller butt?

  • Is it possible to have a combination shape? I've been extremely underweight for years but with me gaining weight I notice a lot of weight going to my legs and other midway lower parts. If so, could you please do a video on combination shapes, if there's such a thing? Thanks in advance!

  • Continued: so im really hoping that da barbell bridge helps me put on a lil muscle on my gluteus minimus, that top part right under lower back,cause no other butt exercise makes me feel it at the top like that 1 does, but the key is to do it with moderate to heavy weight, i cant wait till i can put 2 45 plates on, 90+45=135lbs. Oh and hyper extension moves hit that top area as well. Ive been slacking i gotta do lots more of those! keep u posted on my results.

  • Im not a pear, but im trying to get my butt the biggest it can possibly get, being that its kinda flat, actually i have nice meaty cheeks, but the very top of my butt is very flat, i dont have any fat or muscle up there its genetic, but i notice that doing barbell bridges ( i use the 45lb bar plus 2 10lb plates until i get stronger which is total 65lbs) i jus did these for the 1st time with that much weight n man let me tell u, it really hits that very top area of my butt.
