To you Reds and Dodgers fans during 74-'79 you had a mammoth rivalry going that was helped by the fact that either team took the division crown for those 6 straight years. Am I right in guessing that Steve Garvey was the most disliked Dodger in that rivalry? I would think that two players like Pete Rose and Steve Garvey must have hated eachother since Rose was unapolagetically blunt and wild, and Steve was so white-bred. To those of you old enough to recall, am I right?

As an L.A. Native, I am glad to know that Pete Rose actually lives here in Los Angeles. Although I hated him with the Cincinnati Reds while following the Dodgers, Charlie Hustle was definately the reason why The Big Red Machine was going strong during the 1970's.

And also without him, the Phillies would have never won their only World Championship in 1980(Before last year's World Series win). The Phillies, and all of Philadelphia better be kissing Pete Rose's Ass right about now!
