This is a very real issue and problem with McCain even being CONSIDERED for the presidency. How can someone who is overtly racist (or racist AT ALL) lead a nation in the 21st century?

Irwin Tang is right: If John McCain would have used the word "nigger" to describe ANY black person whether they are from our country or abroad (in war time or peace time), he would IMMEDIATELY be disgraced and dismissed from the race.

So why is gook acceptable? Why is singing about bombing a nation such as Iran acceptable? How can a man with anger issues, who has used the word c*** to describe his wife-- a man who has shoved a woman in a WHEELCHAIR away who was trying to ask him a simple question...have the qualifications to be a fair and just leader of our nation the United States of America?

Maybe it's about time to go back to the dark ages?... It's up to US to decide whether we go forward or tread wat.er
