  • Thank you, I've been using this technique of no-knot tying since the late 1970s, shortly after I started caning chairs!

  • I'm working with a square chair seat. I use 2 canes for each front/back, side/side and each diagonal run. I don't see how your system would work for me. Each layer will have 2 starter pieces hanging down and 2 ending pieces hanging down. Even if I could use the diagonal pieces to secure the pieces hanging down, how do I use your system for the last diagonal end piece?
