The bodies of four U.S. citizens have been found strangled, beaten and stabbed in a van in Tijuana, Mexico. Their deaths are blamed on a bloody turf war between drug cartels. (May 15)

Very sad that this happened to these young people. However, their autopsies revealed that one of the girls, Carmen, tested positive for cocaine, and the family members of the victims also said that they had acquaintances with drug traffickers. I don't think Mexico is more dangerous than any other place. It's just being at the wrong place, at the wrong time and also making bad judgments and associations. These kids are living proof. I know many Americans living in Baja with no problems.
