Hey guess what this is the United States of America there are opportunities for everyone who is willing to work for it. Democratic values, give me a break. Sounds like you want the hard working individuals to pay for the lack of inituative of others. I guess because its because we are so "fortunate" or "lucky". Public service, I quess serving your country in uniform and being a POW doesn't qualify as public service.
